For our FP&A team in Pasir Gudang (Malaysia), we are looking for an FP & A Manager who will report to the FP & A Director Asia.

 

Purpose of the job
As an FP & A Manager you will be business partnering with your stakeholders and understand their business. Furthermore you provide targeted strategic insights across every department of a business. You base these insights on analysis of operational performance, industry dynamics, macro-economic trends and the competitor landscape.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Improving the impact and understanding of financial reporting on business performance;
  • Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies;
  • Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered;
  • Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams;
  • Analyze the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPI), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenditures, and profit margin;
  • Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections and operating forecast;
  • Implement a business intelligence tool and dashboard reports;
  • Develop financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives. Ad-hoc business performance reporting.

Education and Experience
 

  • At least a Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Economics or related area;
  • ACAACCA, CPA or CIMA qualified;
  • 5-6 years of relevant experience of which preferably a couple of years in a Supervisory role;
  • Experience with M&A related projects is preferred;
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Malay or Chinese is preferred.
